Why we took off
As a studio dweller just outside of Boston mulling over the idea of van life, I thought, well, we aren’t really talking too much of a downgrade in space here.
I don’t need much. The most appealing advantage of van life for me was the idea of waking up wherever I wanted. I loved my little home up in the trees in the suburbs of Boston - but I was ready to stretch my leggys.
I decided to take my digital work on the road and Vandylife was born.
At the beginning of 2020, pre-pandemic, I couldn’t shake the urge to GET-IN-THE-VAN.
When March 2020 hit us with a pandemic, I hit the deck to reach the main goal…winter on the beach with my best gal, and more specifically, on wheels. I knew the time was now (then).
The research and planning started to take shape and the goal was getting nearer in site. Once I narrowed down the best vehicle to take on the road, I’d be that much closer.
I knew, however, that I had my work cut out for me and that the road to getting ON the road, wasn’t gonna be easy.
